time. Still, I got the following reply:
\efest
will begin soon, and I know for a fact I won't be able to post anything on September 30th. As mentioned on an older entry, I'd like to write 4 fics for that fest, but of course it won't be possible--not this year anyway. With work taking a large chunk of my time for the next days, plus fannish commitments requiring my attention (most notably my mod duties at minerva_fest and hp_crackdealers

), I'll be very lucky if I can get at least one fic done by the end of October. Not that I'm complaining. Work is a necessity anyway, and fannish tasks are always fun. I'm just a bit concerned,

Big guide of doom: A few days ago, I WAS writing down the general notes That Would Apply to All my Secret Coconut prompts, and I Realise Were Said notes getting too long and confusing. So I Decided to create the big guide of doom: a wordy post containing (almost) All You Need to know if you're writing fanfic for me . Thus, if you're ever unlucky enough to Be matched to me in an exchange, or to pick one of my prompts in an anonymous prompt fest, or if you're Simply A masochist and want to Punish yourself bythe Harry / Ron fic I'm writing for Becky. Events I've managed to outline the final two scenes. Also, I Came up with a list of spells wizards Our Will Have to break in the story. Or, to Be more exact, a list of inconvenient spells Those Things Which Are going to generate. Now i have to decide how to go about the actual writing process. I Have Thought of two Possibilities; am Trying to see Which of Them Would Be less time-consuming. As I wrote on my previous post, I do not want to make Becky wait for too long. Then again, I do not want to sacrifice quality to speed Favour. Speaking of my own stories, here's Something I Need to Clarify: I do not publish my fics on this journal. The fanfics tag will lead you to posts about fanfic in general, ran

Participants Have Their entries submitted. Things Have Been Running Smoothly So Far. I'm a happy mod. :-) The Secret Coconut Was a joy to Organiser, as always. Most people Had the chance to choose Their own assignments, the (very few) late ones Have Been Entered In Our prompt lottery, and the admins (Anita and I) Have already sent out the initial administrative emails. I love all this Excitement: reading all the creative, intriguing prompts submitted, the VARIED reactions to the options available on the prompt masterlist, people hurrying up to grab prompts Their favorite, running the lottery for the less fortunate or more adventurous ones, cheerleading writers nervous after Their fate is sealed. The problem is That Now That the first wave of activity is gone, I feel Rather empty. This Secret Coconut thing is addictive! I Seriously Need to run more fests! ^ ^ UUU
By the way, Anita and I Have Been working on a fannish calendar of events for the upcoming months / year. I Should Have Some news for you soon. ;-)

Help Pakistan fic:

I Told my winning bidder at help_pakistan
guessed That I Had Exactly what pairing she would ask me to write about. That's right: for some reason I *knew* she was going to request a Harry/Ron fic.
Becky is a nice, flexible person, and she gave me a quite inspiring prompt. The problem, as I've mentioned on an older post, is that it's perhaps too easy to inspire me. Which means that I'd better find a way to condense the many ideas I already have for this fic, or it's going to be too lengthy. I don't want to make my lovely recipient wait for too long. T__T
Maybe I should eliminate a certain subplot entirely, as much as I'd love to use it. In fact, there are two subplots I could eliminate; let's call them A and B. I do think I can preserve A. But B is... tough. Either I embrace it fully and give it all the care it requires, or I deletand it completely. It Will not Admit to Shortened version, unlikable A. That Does Not Deserve the Same A B does care. It's just that I can see why A Might Be Shortened and Still Remain believable. B, On the Other Hand, Might Not Be believable at all if Not Given enough room.

Then again, this is how I see Things. Maybe Other writers / readers disagree with me and Would Say That A is the Most Dangerous subplot, where, B Requires less work. Ah, I do not know! > __ \u0026lt;The good news is That I do know how to make Harry and Ron stay together in this story, and this is What Matters, I suppose. ^ ^ U

MLXC . We accept stories in English, Portuguese and English (although we haven't had any fics in the latter so far). Don't worry: you'll never have to write nor read anything in an unknown language! If English is your only language, you can rest assured that you'll write a fic in English and will receive a gift in English too. If you can read English but don't feel comfortable writing in this language, you'll be given the chance to write in Portuguese or English instead. In the event that, say, two French-speaking authors sign-up and one of them chooses to write for the other, we may allow a fic in French if need be (the same goes for other languages like German, Italian etc.). Actually, this is an unwritten rule; we never had to put it to use, but I decIDED to mention it here just so you know That the Possibility exists. Well, this was my announcement for the day. :-P

O - Ogawa Mana (by Anita): I can not remember if I've ever listened to her songs and Stock ofor not. ^^U [2] P - Piccolo (by Anita): OMG, he's so sexy! *__* Yes, I do find a green, non-human male sexy. His Brazilian dubber is to blame in part for my fangirlish reactions, but Piccolo is a quite likeable character in his own right anyway. It's a shame that like so many other DBZ characters, he's eventually reduced to a joke of a fighter. ¬¬ R - Risako Sugaya (by Anita): I can't remember if I've ever listened to any of her songs or not. ^^U [3]
